On September 18, Harshita was invited to be on a panel for the Impact Innovation Challenge organised by the NSW Department of Education for years 10, 11 and 12 students in Parramatta.

During this panel discussion, Harshita shared her entrepreneurial journey with the students emphasising on how important it is as young people to focus on solving one particular problem for a chosen audience. She also stressed on the significance of validating the idea in the market via surveys, interviews, focus groups before actually going out and building the product.

During this panel discussion students asked questions like, ‘How do you integrate feedback from your customers into your offering’, ‘How has being an entrepreneur changed your decision making’. Over the next two days these high school students were to design and apply design thinking skills, work in teams and develope their leadership skills.

As local entrepreneurs in the Western Sydney region, the panel's insights helped the students to refine their ideas while at the same time it was a great space for promoting ketch-Up to this new audience and having their feedback.

Thanks to Western Sydney’s Launch Pad team for providing this opportunity to be on a panel as a local entrepreneur.
